WVEC offers a consortium model to school districts for professional development. Being in a consortium allows WVEC to offer relevant learning to educators at a fraction of the cost because of shared expenses. Each Member District is able to send up to two teachers to each Title IV eligible workshop and conference, unlimited Title IV PD Pops, participate in Purdue’s virtual STEM field trips, audits, and become a member of all network groups.
WVEC prides itself on bringing in top-notch local, state and national presenters, and a consortium is able to afford this opportunity to our districts! WVEC Title IV Consortium offers professional learning that is relevant, timely, and based on feedback from its member districts.

Twin Lakes School Corporation has invested considerable time and resources into providing comprehensive professional development opportunities for our educators by participating as a member of the WVEC Title IV Consortium, and the results have been truly remarkable. Our educators have gained valuable insights into the latest teaching methodologies, instructional strategies, and educational technologies. This has enabled them to create more engaging and interactive learning experiences for our students. Deb Metzger, Twin Lakes Superintendent

“The North White School Corporation invested in the WVEC Title IV Consortium for the first time this year. In doing so, this allowed our staff members to take full advantage of many of the professional development opportunities which were available in person, through video conferencing or with recorded events. As a superintendent, being able to have these numerous opportunities for our staff with topics that were relevant and impactful is huge. I have had many conversations with our staff members about their experiences and from the feedback I received and knowing the quantity and quality of PD which our staff partook in this year, it is a no brainer to continue as a member of the WVEC Title IV Consortium. I want to thank Judi Hendrix and her outstanding staff at WVEC for continually finding relevant and timely PD opportunities for our teachers and other staff members.”Nick Eccles, North White Superintendent
