So many of our children have experienced an uptick in trauma and chronic stress these past few years. It is imperative that we recognize these stressors and adapt the environment to better meet the social-emotional needs of our children. Anyone who interacts with children needs to be trained to become a champion for them; to build and maintain relationships that will enable children to build resilience for the future. My session will provide educators with 6 key strategies that can be easily implemented into their work. These strategies are grounded in the principle of building strong relationships with children in order to help them build resilience. The strategies are easy to implement and share with others, are not overly time-consuming and do not cost a lot of money. Additionally, these strategies are beneficial to all children, not just those who have experienced trauma. This recorded session will be sent to you on October 2nd at 7:30 AM to view at your convenience.
