Are you ready to create learning environments where students value the deliberative process over argument and debates? Yvonne will share strategies that deepen students’ perspectives and respect for each other’s differing views when teaching controversial subjects. She will integrate tips for argumentative writing skills and analysis of opposing ideas in multiple resources. Ideas on building trust and transparency with families and other community stakeholders will also be addressed in this session.
