*Book Study: 7 Steps to a Language-Rich, Interactive, World Language Classroom by Anna Matis with Sally Barnes & John Seidlitz (K-12) - Facilitated by Jennifer Fry

Join fellow world language educators for a practical and engaging four-session virtual book study exploring Anna Matis, Sally Barnes, and John Seidlitz’s 7 Steps to a Language-Rich, Interactive World Language Classroom. Over the course of four one-hour virtual sessions, participants will unpack each of the 7 Steps, share their experiences putting the strategies to use in the classroom, and collaborate with other teachers looking to boost student talk, engagement, and confidence. Leave with ready-to-use ideas and a clear plan for creating a more interactive, communicative classroom environment. Meeting dates/times: Jan. 7 - 10:00 am, Feb. 5 - 1:00 pm, March 5 - 10:00 am, April 13 - 1:00 pm. The first 19 registrants to sign up who are also attending the ML Conference will receive the book FREE*. All other registrants will need to purchase the book on their own.

*Free books must be picked up at the ML Conference on November 5th or 6th.
