Description
Join Melissa Gill for an engaging session designed to empower Adolescent Educators with effective, research-based strategies for phonics instruction to support upper-grade students. This session focuses on using the UFLI (University of Florida Literacy Institute) framework during English Lab Supports, small group instruction, and/or Special Education settings in MS/HS. This 6-12 focused workshop will explore how UFLI’s structured and systematic approach to phonics supports all learners, including those with diverse needs. Participants will gain practical insights, hands-on examples, and resources to implement immediately in their classrooms. This session offers valuable tools to boost reading success. Coaches, MS/HS Educators, and Instructional Assistants will take away meaningful action steps throughout the day!
