In this session, educators will explore strategies for effectively challenging high-ability learners in reading. We will focus on research-based practices, the importance of differentiated instruction, and how to provide opportunities that appropriately stretch their cognitive and reading abilities. Attendees will walk away with actionable strategies that will allow them to meet the advanced needs of these students and create an environment that pushes them to think critically and engage with more complex texts.
