Description
New and Newer Teachers - don’t let this school year get too far underway without attending this critical behavior training that will equip you with the effective techniques, strategies, and approaches to deal with disruptive behavior in your K-12 classroom.
This is simulation training, where you’ll learn and practice powerful techniques to deal with disruptive behavior. You’ll learn practical and easy to use strategies that nudge disruptive students to be more compliant and less confrontational. You’ll learn the powerful technique of “working the room” and how to stop chronic and excessive talking its tracks. You’ll learn exactly what to say and do when a student becomes defiant and challenges you in front of the class. You’ll learn how to deal with behavioral tactics and traps that students use to confuse, annoy, frustrate, and exhaust you. You’ll create and leave with a ladder of limits and practice the powerful technique of setting limits using choice language when a student becomes disruptive. Be prepared to leave with a ton of strategies to use in your classroom the next day!
