One of the most effective strategies for addressing irresponsible and disruptive behavior is setting limits in the moment when behavior is occurring. Most teachers understand that limits need to be set, but we often struggle with what limits to set and how to set these limits effectively. In this training, we’ll explore the strategy of using Choice Language Therapy to help us set more effective limits when behavior is occurring. We’ll learn how to build a progressive set of limits and the precise language to use and not to use, when setting limits.
