~Proactive Behavior Management: Teaching Positive Behavior as a Craft (K-6)

Description

This full-day session will allow us to dive deep into the topic of student behavior, including classroom management that uses intentional and strategic proactive strategies, creating and teaching strong procedures, brain based teaching, and holding students accountable in Tier 1. But what do you do for the students that continue to struggle? This session will highlight specific, research based, behavior interventions for various needs, and will include how to successfully implement an individualized behavior plan for students needing Tier 2 behavior support. For administrators and school leaders, this session will highlight how to implement school-wide behavior supports, including using applied educational neuroscience, how to encourage staff buy-in, and how to roll out these systems successfully in your school.
