The Educational Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (ECPA) is a collaborative alliance between eight Indiana education service centers dedicated to streamlining the purchasing process for member school districts.
Our purchasing team actively works to remove barriers for schools by vetting top vendors, simplifying the procurement process while ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations.
With a focus on quality, customer service, and cost efficiency, ECPA empowers districts to leverage collective buying power, securing top-quality goods and services at significantly reduced costs through vetted contracts. By working with ECPA, schools can stretch every dollar, maximize efficiency, and ensure compliance.
The Indiana Approved Educational Shopping Cooperative Purchasing Program (IAESC Procurement) expands the buying power of its member schools through the free, web-based program that offers discounted pricing for over 35 product categories and more than 120 vendors. All bids are published and awarded in Indiana by the Governing Board.
The mission of The Educational Service Centers of Indiana (ESC of I) is to create a collaborative environment for all of Indiana’s educational service centers to implement statewide initiatives beneficial to all Indiana’s educators and students.

CIESC’s online bus purchasing program is available at no additional cost to any school district in Indiana. Our efficient process utilizes a unique purchasing software that saves districts money and time and ensures your district gets the bus that meets its needs and meets all of Indiana’s requirements. CIESC’s software makes it easy to share bid specifications and see side by side comparisons across school bus manufacturers in real time.
ESCRFT is a Property and Casualty trust where 70+ school corporations pool their collective insured assets to purchase best-in-class coverage at competitive prices. The standard insurance market for K12 schools is very limited - ESCRFT offers a unique option for Indiana schools. By pooling resources, ESCRFT can access markets that do not traditionally write schools- meaning that each renewal, we are creating competition for the business which helps keep pricing in check and coverage at a high level. Additionally, ESCRFT's many wrap-around services are designed to meet the unique needs of our Members.
The Indiana Educational Service Center Food Procurement Consortium simplifies school food procurement by managing complex USDA and state compliance requirements to reduce the burden on local staff. At the same time, it ensures every participating district retains an active voice and final decision-making power in the product selection and bid award process.
